Mel and Colleen Wilder's creations in blown-glass and flame-worked beads continue to excite both visitors and students alike. Mel is constantly fascinated by the manipulation of molten glass and creates colourful functional art glass. He particularly enjoys sharing this experience with others. Colleen's flame-worked beads are unique; with them she creates beautiful one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Truly wearable art. Studio/Gallery guests will be able to see, close-up, the processes and beauty of hot glass. Classes are available in Glass Blowing & Bead Making. Open 10 am to 5 pm, Fri. to Sun., May to Nov.; 10 am to 5 pm, Sat. and Sun., Nov. to Jan. Other times by appointment or chance.
