Bloomin' Barn Studio

Nestled in the garden of her Victorian home, is an 1880s driveshed (a.k.a. the Bloomin' Barn), which houses Margaret's work. Described as joyous and uplifting, her exuberant floral oil paintings are definite mood-boosters. Using large brushes and confident strokes she brings poppies, peonies and hollyhocks to life on canvas. She also paints exquisite small watercolours. Visit her sun-filled studio in the village of Wellington from 10 am to 5 pm, Fri. to Mon., May to Oct. Other times by chance or appointment.
