Wellington Pottery

Home to artists, Maggie Murdoch and David Drown, Wellington Pottery is dedicated to creating unique porcelain pottery and jewellery. Maggie's porcelain work seems "caught in the act of becoming", with its free-form organic shapes and movement. These same qualities are used to create funky, everyday jewellery using silver, bronze, copper, porcelain and semi-precious stones. Her partner David extrudes and hand-builds clay work to create highly functional, inviting designs with strong graphic lines and an Eastern flare. The pieces work well individually or in sets. Open 10 am to 5 pm, daily, May to Nov.; 10 am to 5 pm, Sat. and Sun., Apr. and Dec.; other times by appointment.
