Wellington Pottery

Home to two artists, Maggie Murdoch and David Drown, each with a distinctive style, Wellington Pottery is dedicated to creating beautiful and unique porcelain pottery-for home, garden or art collection. Maggie draws on 37 years of experience to unite smooth and rough, glossy and matt for her 'Botanical' series. Fanciful yet functional, the series is inspired by the close study of organic forms yet resists exact mimicry in order to stir the imagination. David, meanwhile, manipulates his extruded and hand-built works to create highly functional yet inviting designs. With strong graphic lines and an Eastern flare, they work well as individual pieces or as sets.

Hours: 10am-5pm, daily, May to Nov.; Sat. & Sun., Apr. & Dec.; other times by appointment.
